Privacy Policy
This notice explains how Tiltedhue Ltd ("Tiltedhue", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through this website. We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Tiltedhue Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 11927907), based in Worthing, West Sussex. You can contact us at info@tiltedhue.com.
What we collect, and why
The only personal information we actively collect via the website is what you choose to send us through our enquiry form or by email. This typically includes:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company or organisation (if provided)
- Any project details, budget range or other context you share
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, discuss a potential project, and follow up where appropriate. We do not use it for marketing, do not sell it, and do not pass it to third parties for their own purposes.
Lawful basis
We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services. Where you have voluntarily provided the information by submitting our form or emailing us, we treat that as a clear request to be contacted in reply.
How long we keep it
If a project does not proceed, we delete enquiry correspondence within 12 months. If a project does proceed, we retain relevant records for the duration of the engagement and for as long as required afterwards to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (typically up to 7 years).
Who can see it
Enquiries are read by Tiltedhue staff. Messages are held within our email provider (Google Workspace) and any project-management tools we use to run our business. These providers act as data processors on our behalf and are bound by their own data-protection obligations.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set marketing or advertising cookies. We may use minimal, privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are visited, in aggregate. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) are kept for short periods for security and diagnostic purposes.
International transfers
Some of our processors (for example Google Workspace) may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent mechanisms recognised under UK GDPR.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@tiltedhue.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from loss, misuse or unauthorised access. No internet transmission is ever fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security of information sent to us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this notice from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version.
