For Hot Wheels’ latest retail product campaign ‘Let’s Race’, we were called in to produce some super-fun and vibrant content. And so the hunt was on to find a couple of ‘cool dude’ mini models and style them as Hot Wheels brand ambassadors for the day, to promote the soon to be launched clothing and toy product ranges, with online retailer Very!
The aim of this product shoot was to highlight both the toys and clothing, and to ensure the products and graphics would really POP straight off the page or screen, we scouted for the perfect white infinity cove studio and vibrant young talent, who would really bring the campaign to life. To give the shoot that childlike feel, we sourced bedroom set and props within complementary brand colour tones. With a huge focus on fun and believable imagery, it was important to everyone involved to bring the fun-factor, so once we had our 'cool dudes' feeling as comfortable and relaxed as possible on set, we gave them free-reign, letting them play away together, whilst we captured many genuine action shots! We could then revisit and snap any essential product or hero images.
We captured a wide range of imagery, highlighting both the clothing and toy range, that was used in an integrated and targeted email, social and web and print campaign throughout a 6 month period.
