Drax Group are a global energy company engaged in renewable power generation and the production of sustainable biomass. Generating electricity for the UK and internationally.


In today’s competitive job market, standing out as the employer of choice is more important than ever. To attract the best talent, companies need to communicate their values, workplace culture and employee experiences in a compelling way. Drax Group approached us to create a Hero Video for their Employee Value Proposition (EVP) campaign that would celebrate their diverse workforce and showcase what it’s truly like to work for Drax across various locations worldwide.

We knew that the best way to capture the essence of Drax’s global presence and diverse roles was through real employee voices. Our team worked closely with Drax to craft a bespoke script that would showcase these team members authentically. We planned an entire production which took us to four different countries – England, Scotland, Canada, and the USA – to capture footage of Drax employees in action, spanning multiple time zones and work environments.

The challenges? Tight deadlines and the complexities of international travel logistics - From organising shoots across rural and urban locations to navigating visa requirements, negotiating bulky camera kit and batteries through airport security and coordinating and collaborating with team members in multiple different countries, every detail had to be meticulously planned. But at Tiltedhue, we thrive on challenges! Our team worked tirelessly to ensure every shot was captured perfectly, even under the pressure of a super tight turnaround.

In addition to the Hero Video, we created a huge library of still photography, giving Drax a wealth of visual content to promote their brand's messaging. These high-quality images not only complement the video but also serve as stand-alone content for Drax’s ongoing recruitment campaigns, helping to showcase the company's people, culture, and values across various media.

We delivered a stunning Hero Video that captured the heart of Drax’s EVP message, along with an extensive collection of 356 still images spanning five different countries and sites, celebrating a diverse range of employees and individuals. Whether through video or photography, potential candidates can now see first-hand what makes Drax a unique and desirable place to work, with these captivating assets to aid their future recruitment efforts.
