Drax Group are a global energy company engaged in renewable power generation and the production of sustainable biomass. Generating electricity for the UK and internationally.

In today’s competitive job market, standing out as an employer of choice matters more than ever. To attract top talent, companies need to communicate their values, culture and real employee experiences in a compelling way. Drax asked us to create a hero video for their EVP campaign that would celebrate their diverse workforce and show what life at Drax is really like across their global locations.

We knew the strongest way to do this was through genuine employee voices. Working closely with the Drax team, we developed a script built around authentic stories and planned a production that took us across four countries — England, Scotland, Canada and the USA — capturing employees in action across different time zones, roles and environments.

The challenges? A tight deadline and the complexity of coordinating shoots across multiple countries. From rural sites to busy cities, managing kit, schedules and collaboration across different teams meant every detail had to be carefully planned. But we thrive on that. Our team pushed hard to capture everything needed, even with a fast turnaround.

Alongside the Hero Video, we also produced a large library of stills, giving Drax a wide range of high-quality visuals to support their ongoing recruitment campaigns. These images complement the film and work as strong stand-alone content to showcase their people, culture and values.

We delivered a Hero Video that captured the heart of Drax’s EVP message, along with a library of hundreds of still images shot across five countries and sites, showcasing a diverse range of employees. Together, the film and photography give potential candidates a clear, authentic look at what makes Drax a unique and inspiring place to work, supporting their recruitment efforts for years to come.
